The Sunny Side of Auschwitz
For the past 12 months I've been working as a volunteer in the Memorial and Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau, but this isn't me telling you about the horrors and tragedies that happened. No, very few people know that Auschwitz isn't just the camp, but also a town, called Oswiecim in Polish, and a gorgeous one as well. I had an ebullient time here and what I've noticed most townspeople struggle with is the image that the whole world has of their town, so I've decided to show take a few pictures showing the liveliness of Oswiecim.
